About
Ambassador Edge Stack is a three-in-one edge stack for Kubernetes that delivers Edge-as-a-Service to software developers. The software packs three modules, namely API Gateway, Delivery Acceleration, and Delivery Gateway.
The API Gateway brings the ability to connect Kubernetes to the internet. Alongside, it also provides an authentication function, tools for traffic management, and service mesh integration option. This also empowers the developer team to facilitate self-servicing for making changes to routine.
The Delivery Acceleration, on the other hand, facilitates and supports local development of microservices via a high-level traffic routine system. Such a robust platform reduces friction in the workflow. There is a service preview feature that enables developers to test changes locally without hampering the work of other team members or collaborators.
With the Delivery Portal tool, admins can expose APIs to application developers as well as public API access in order to boost product making
