About
Yugabyte DB is an open-source SQL Database that enables users to build their DB-as-a-Service on any cloud or Kubernetes infrastructure. The software allows users to manage a fleet of clusters across multiple environments centrally. Users are availed with linear scaling of writes and reads across various regions with high availability under any failure. The application also offers extreme resilience against failures as well as the global distribution of data.
The software provides users with a speedy single key and single shared ACID for majority workloads, and they can use the fully distributed ACID whenever needed for high data integrity. YugaByte DB enables one to bring his/her administration by plugging into existing DevOps toolchain, such as managing clusters with Kubernetes. This platform also provides users with data migration tools that enable them to migrate out of legacy databases with ease.
